Living Legends is a participatory storytelling experience that brings myths, legends, and folktales from around the world into physical spaces, inviting reflection, creativity, participation, and intergenerational engagement.


Story and Participation

Each page introduces myths, legends, and folktales through short retellings, glimpses into the places and traditions where the stories originate, and moments for imagination, creative writing, and drawing.


The Artefact Book

At the centre of the experience is the Artefact Book, which acts as both a story portal and a gateway to soundscapes, visuals, and further exploration. Each artefact is handmade with textured, fibrous paper, bound by hand, and part of a limited edition, making every copy unique.

Storytelling has always been a natural way we learn and connect. Across West Africa, Jali or Griots preserved history and knowledge, using voice, music, rhythm, memory, and participation to bring stories to life.


Each story was multi-channel, immersive, participatory, and intentional. Children remembered. Communities passed knowledge across generations.


Living Legends continues this ancient tradition.
